Worked for a week!
We have this fan in the brushed nickel finish, with "wood" blades. The blades are mahogany color on one side, teak on the other. The bulbs are candelabra style, so they're dim, unless you replace them with a brighter, high efficiency bulb, like a CFL or LED bulb.
The fan is quiet and powerful, but after a week, it mysteriously stopped working. We had an electrician in to work on it, and the problem was the sensor for the remote control. The remote is the ONLY way to turn the fan or light on. Without a working sensor on the fan, it is useless.
