Soleus Air FTY-25G Table Fan with Rotating Grill

Quiet, dependable
We are purchasing a second fan of this type. Ours worked for 5+ years, on almost all the time, quietly keeping the air moving in a room we call the "Garden Room" because that's where we have our houseplants and orchids (which thrive with a little air moving as long as they don't dry out.) We didn't use the timer. The oscillation feature seems to work fine without the fan moving (only the outer grill does). This also seems to keep the fan from being too noisy. Very pleased with the product and the company.

Great, quiet, long lasting fan.
We've had this fan for about three years and it has run continuously, 24/7, 365 with no problems, moving cooler air in the summer and heat from a wood stove in the winter. A great fan for the bedroom as it is extremely quiet in low speed and only slightly louder in the two higher speeds. A big plus in my opinion is that the rear cage assembly can be removed with a screwdriver for a thorough cleaning. The fan also swivels in its housing so you have the option of aiming the air flow up or down. It is lightweight and very easy to move.Contrary to one review, it DOES oscillate just not in the conventional sense. The curved "grille" in front of the blades rotates and directs the air flow in about a 120 degree arc in front of the fan. The "oscillating" feature and the timer are both optional settings.

Even better than the old Soleus Air fan
We have several of the older version of this and they have been quiet and reliable for years.

This is a newer version and does not look like the picture, which is of the older version. The one we received is light grey and has the switch on top instead of in front. It looks like this:
Soleus Air (SoleusAir) Table Fan FTY-25

The new one seems to be just as well made as the previous model and even more quiet.
