Got me out of a jam
I needed to install a baseboard heating zone thermostat on a wall next to my chimney, but there was a wall outlet and a light switch in my way when approaching from the unfinished basement below. My existing 1/2" drill bits couldn't reach high enough to penetrate the 2x4 framing sitting on the subfloor.
Then a colleague told me about this drill bit, and Amazon had the best price. This drill bit let me drill a hole through the floor joist and wall so that I could run a fish tape up between the drywall and brick chimney to pull a 3-wire thermostat cable (relay contacts and power). Prime shipping was fast, and it arrived in perfect condition. Now that my problem is solved, I lent this drill bit to my colleague to do wiring at his house.
