Fantastic Item - buy and be happy!
I am super impressed with this product and quick delivery! I bought it early Thursday morning and I got it in the mail Saturday afternoon. Also USPS tracking was super easy and accurate.
I was a little worried that the water pressure coming from my house wasn't strong enough for 7 nozzles. I've never had any water pressure problems before, but I thought maybe 7 nozzles was too many and I might just get little useless streams and drizzles and I'd be out $30. But let me tell you, the nozzle spray is AWESOME! Each jet mists the water completely, just as if it were coming from a can of spray paint or hairspray.
I couldn't have made this product any better or any cheaper if I'd have made it myself.
P.S. I never write product reviews even when I'm happy with a product, so please consider this a special endorsement from a very happy customer.
Chillin with the peeps
This mister was easy to install. It works, however, at a distance up to about 20 feet you can feel water droplets. It is not to the point of actually getting wet but more moisture than you might want to feel. This is during relatively mild weather so perhaps when it is hotter it won't be as much of an issue. It certainly makes the area DRAMATICALLY cooler and between the fan and the mist, mosquitoes are nowhere to be found. Not perfect, but a decent, inexpensive tweak for a fan!
More mist for your money
The 7 nozzle fan misting unit is a great buy! It comes completely assembled except for the misting nozzles.
The instructions that come with it are rather skimpy but you don't really need more information. The main bit is to flush the line before installing the misting nozzles, and the rest is simple enough to figure out.
We've found that it's better to not turn the fan on the highest setting for the best cooling. More fan power means the micro droplets of water stick together and you get wet if you are sitting too close.
The cooling is wonderful, our cats even appreciate it and don't mind that they are getting a bit wet.
