Better than the more expensive Misty Mate
I had a Misty Mate unit for years and this year the hose randomly started to burst every time I would use it. I knew I would have to replace it and began checking Amazon for pricing. I decided to not get another one of the more expensive Misty Mates with the not very durable hosing and ran into this little Windchiller fan.
I decided to go with the Windchiller fan and I am very pleased with it. Unlike the little cheap mister fans from Walmart, this one pumps up and will keep spraying mist as long as you hold down the mist button. I quickly realized the importance of the fan as well. Compared to the fan-less Misty Mate units, this one is much much cooler.
One worry I had with this was the "child proof fan". Normally you will find fans labeled "child proof" do not blow very well but this unit did great! Instead of the traditional foam blades, this unit uses a thin bendable plastic that has good velocity and is also child friendly.

Great for Vacations
All I can say is WOW, took my windchiller to Disney and it sure did come in handy while we were standing in line for rides and also when we would just relax by the pool at the resort. I had so many people ask me about this I almost wanted to hide it. Can't wait to take it to the beach.
Best product of it's kind on the market
Bought this for my grandchildren to use in MO on vacation this summer. They went to a concert when it was 106 degrees! They spent all day there and went with two of these and two others of a different brand. When they got back, I asked which one worked best. Hands down, they said they were fighting over this one! Great product, just a advertised. Worth every penny in that kind of heat.
